Sock Stars Are You Ready?
Today is the official launch of the 519Pledge For Socks and we need your help now more than ever. Head to “Get Involved” on our website and scroll down to “Take the 519Pledge”. Register as an individual or as a team and help us over the next 6 weeks engage in meaningful conversations surrounded by the realities our friends facing homelessness and extreme poverty are living through all while stocking up the socks for winter.
This year we have a goal of 100,000+ pairs of socks to ensure our friends are met with a new pair of socks minimum when in need. The winter months are long and cold and we know some amazing people who could use your help.
In 2022-2023 (5th Annual 519Pledge), we successfully raised 108,000 pairs of socks that supported thousands of socks through the doors of shelters, services and community groups. Can you believe that all of those socks made an impact in just 9 months time! We’ve completely run out of socks and we need your help to keep the impact going. Your participation helps so many local services supporting friends facing extreme poverty and homelessness.
